Fresh Ceaser salad and crunchy Honey Garlic Wings. Yummy
Firehall is the pinnacle of extremely above average wings. It really brings me back to the day of Chaps at 3419 Fairview Street, Burlington ON.They have good service, good people, and good atmosphere. Their wings blew my mind and I made sure to bring a change of pants once the conversation, or wings, got too saucy. Chaps also had a great keg deal that I could only ever finish with my wife; we met at the big & tall store, she was big and I was tall. The only thing hotter than Chaps wings was the scarlet fever that eventually took her life. I mourned her over an extremely powerful Cola that could be found only at Chaps. I swear they had double syrup implementation in there. It's really sad Chaps had to close. Such is life, one day I'll be gone too and I hope someone will leave a Google review about my life on a wing restaurant.
I ate at Firehall before they moved, the wings were good and the service was pretty solid. My husband and I tried it on my birthday in their new spot, we went for lunch because it’s always super busy and I was a tad disappointed in the experience. They charged to sauce the wings and my buffalo chicken wrap was mediocre...The pickle chips were pretty good but the cost of lunch was a bit steep for the quality of food and no drinks; just pops. Probably won’t be back!
Me and my mom first got the extinguisher dip and it was SO good, it had the perfect amount of cheese and dip. The dip was just overall amazing. Our server was really sweet and she was very helpful. My mom ordered one pound of the mild, lightly dusted wings and overall, there wasn't much meat on them. She said they tasted overcooked. I got the Penne Chicken Alfredo and it tasted like plastic. There was so much sauce and it overall wasn't that good. We would go back but we wouldn't order the same main course we got.
Great wings...Always great service...
Thank you Brad for the attention and professionalism. The food was great and the service phenomenal. Your sense of humour made it that much more enjoyable.
We went there because of the chicken wings and people were right...they are the BEST. We were impressed with the rest of the menu and had a wonderful soup and sandwich special that was delightful. I found the restaurant layout and design warm and comfortable and not the load beer joint sports bar I expected. Our waiter was Australian and although very busy he was very professional and helpful. Highly recommended.
Good service, the wings were decent. If you're going to check it out do it on a Tuesday, 2 for 1 wings. They also have a 'flip for you fish' where it's a 50/50 coin flip to get your meal free, neat concept! If you're feeling lucky check that out on Fridays.
My sister in law and I came two weeks in a row just before closing and thankfully a server named Brad took us in and let us order. He was honestly so accommodating to us. We will definately come again.
I've been going to Firehall for over 10 years. They have the best wings in town. Highly recommend this restaurant. I have tried everything on their menu and it is absolutely delicious. The service is great, friendly, and many times the owner has come say hello and wish us a good evening. Love this place!
This spot is wonderful and roomy, the menu was delicious and the rates were very fair. fast, efficient service and very welcoming waiters. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious.. Affordable.. Lovely staff
Really tasty Wings! Must try the curry! I will definitely go there again!
Very nice experience having wings on the patio. We don't get out much these days and this was a nice way to end our afternoon - really good wings and cold beer.
It was our first time and for sure wont be the las
Horrible customer service. Front of house management does not know anything about guest experience clearly.
Love the wings!! Have been going here even before they moved locations and everytime I have gone I have always been satisfied with their quality
Nice place and super-friendly staff. The foods are so fresh and delicious, but you can say not in a big portion.
Firehall, been coming to the place for years. I have always found the Tuesday wing nights exciting. I truly believe this is probably the best place in Oakville for wings. In recent years they moved across the street from the original location. I have been to both, and they have delivered a good time at both. They generally always have some sort of a special which I am a fan of, and are reasonably priced. If you live in the area, or are just passing through definitely a great place to check out. They do get very busy, so I give 4 stars only due to wait times, and this is not always the case. Thanks for your many years of service Firehall, look forward to my next visit.
Came to firehall on Canada Day with my girlfriend and Brad was our server and he was outstanding. He recommended the curry and it was amazing. Will be back soon.
Very nice place. First time to try it but not the last one. Very friendly service. Patio is amazing. Whether was beautiful. I had the burgers medium well and they were so tasty. I would suggest may be a bigger patio since I had to wait for 20 minutes for a table for a group of 6. Since it's summer. I expect such a place to be very busy. Bigger patio would help for sure. Overall excellent experience.
Amazing right now they have a patio only open but with tons of room you do have to make a reservation tho but the food is to DIE for its soooooooo good I recomend bringing your family and friends
This is a busy pub. Even with all the servers, and there were many, the service was slow, so slow that the management acknowledged our unusual wait time by covering our meal. Which by the way was well with the wait. I great atmosphere, good prices. 2 for 1 wings on Tuesday... Parking can be a nightmare. Very busy area of Bronte /Oakville.. Definately worth a visit...
Went there on a friday night , very adhoc decision. I believe the original place was a fire station. It impresses with the theme, however the place looked little dingy to me.Lets talk about food, the portion size is good we ordered nachos and they were all so filling with the beer. Also ordered kids mean , they have a lot of options for kids meal and the best part was unlimited juice. The only disappointment is the dessert in kids meal which is a chocolate biscuit. We were handed over the biscuit very lamely. My server was excellent , however , i do not know why she was in a hurry to take all the empty dishes from the table, even when we were still eating. The server was great but was in a hurry and i did not feel was very warm.
went in at 5pm today and left after we got out drinksour male server was EXTREMELY rudethe sass coming off this man was ridiculous over a simple question about the menu.will not be returning.made us very uncomfortable.
Thank you Brad for great service enjoyed the food
I find the quality of this place keeps going down. The menu is blah. But my kids love it here which is why I keep returning .Great weeknight specials with a cute patio.
Great restaurant. First day out of the house onto a patio. Met up with friends. They enjoyed there buffalo chicken salad. I had the extinguisher dip. Thanks for having us. Our waitress was super friendly.
Unexpectedly good, a must try. Each and every dish was well prepared and well served. Great ambience and very friendly staff.
A great pivot to incorporate the patio during Covid. Nice spot to have a couple of beers and a meal after a round of golf. Food was solid and well enjoyed. I had the medium buffalo chicken wrap, and my friend had hot. Both of us were missing the heat in the meal. While the wrap was solid it was lacking that heat we were expecting.Definitely a spot we'll be back to.
This was my first time at the Firehall and I was very impressed! The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and on point. I was there for lunch and they were fairly busy but I was seated right away and after ordering the food was out very quickly. The restaurant is kept clean and the decor is great. If you are in the neighbourhood I would definitely recommend that you give them a try.
Nice place, wings are great. Food comes out fast. One of the best Caesar I had.I would give them 5 stars but our service was not the best, we asked for 5 minutes to read the menu and it took her over 20 minutes to check on us. She just seem very uninterested to be there. Our server even had a table walked out from her. Not a nice thing to see on our first visit. I would definitely give this place another try, this time I will make sure we don’t have the same server.
Very busy. Lots of staff. Kitchen couldn’t keep up with demand and the managers came over and comped our meal as it took over a half hour to have our food to the table. It was very loud and you have to shout to be heard with the acoustics of the building. The wings were good.
This was our second experience on The Firehalls newly expanded patio after Covid lockdown. It was even better than our first. All of the staff have face coverings. The tables are sanitized after use. Single use condiments. They now have phone scan menus on their tables (which is amazing and should continue after COVID). The wings were exactly the same quality as they were before Covid. And most importantly of all, the staff we encountered we pleasant and upbeat considering the circumstances. The Firehall has always been a Bronte gem.
Great place to bring kids. Kids eat Free Monday after 4pm. With a loonie ride on site you can't go wrong
We’re regulars here, get the wings roasted medium lightly sauced, you won’t regret it
Good wings. The smokey BBQ sauce was tasty. Stellar blue cheese dressing on the side. Great service. And a particularly excellent selection of music playing. Firehall decor was interesting.
Went with a friend, we were in a rush to catch a show and the server was awesome. She was helpful in choosing an item that wouldn't take too long to cook. They had an awesome wing special that my friend had. They were delicious! I got the Korean Pork Bulgolgi was good portion and really tasty. We were on the patio, the tables are a little closer than I'd like to other people but was nice with flowers around the patio and some trees. They do have a parking lot!
We made a reservation to avoid any hassle. The table we were given was in the sun, so I asked the host to have a different. She in turn asked to someone that looked like the manager and he promptly replied: No!The ambient was nice, the server fine, the food not very good. Not a great experience over all.
This our first time eating by the patio since the CoVid started. We are a party of 10 people and Gary, the supervisor, made an extra effort just to book us. The server, Jamie, served us very well and the food are delicious!! We support local business in these unprecedented times. Shout out to Gary and Jamie to make our supper satisfying.
Awesome service and great patio space! :)
It was a great day to be out on the patio! Food menu is reduced but service was great. Great for a wet lunch. Especially when your buddy is decent enough to remember it was his turn to pay! Win-win!
